Ingredients

  • Pure Saffron: 1 pinch (10-12 threads)

  • Honey: 1 teaspoon (optional)

 

Instructions

  1. Boil a cup of water and pour it into a teapot.
  2. Wait for 10-30 seconds to let the water cool slightly to the ideal temperature.
  3. Add a pinch of saffron to the water.
  4. Add the black tea, either in a tea bag or loose. Optionally, you can also add honey or sugar for sweetness.
  5. Let the tea steep for 10 minutes. For a stronger brew, you can pour the mixture into a kettle and heat it over moderate heat for an additional 5-10 minutes.
  6. Optionally, add fresh mint leaves for a refreshing twist.
